This week’s edition of C60 takes a look at the Sarah Records label from Bristol, England. This label managed to carve out a unique identity for itself during its short lifetime specializing in jangly indie pop, twee pop and even shoegaze. Bands like The Field Mice (pictured), The Orchids, Brighter, The Wake, Another Sunny Day and others are all included here and helped define the label’s sound, style and image.
Each Wednesday at 4pm and Saturdays from 10-Midnight, let classic tracks wax your ears on C60.
