The Indie-Verse powers that be may question this post, but I just cannot help myself. If we’re not all about Russian rap, then what are we doing with our lives?
The video takes place in an European flea market, and DENA from the block is as gangsta as they come. The accent simply adds to the novelty of her voice. Her moves remind me of those wild and crazy Festrunk Brothers on SNL. We love that her spirit is bold even if they backdrop is a bit different. The hook is rather catchy, with lyrics that declare she does not need material things as long as she can hang out poolside with her friends. If only winters weren’t so long, and her summers weren’t too short.
It’ll be interesting to see what else DENA has planned for the music world.
