Canadian indie-rock group Stars is at it again. The quintet is notorious for their whimsical tendencies — like swapping band members with other groups while touring, or releasing covers here and there before dropping an entire full-length album.

Fortunately for serious fans (or anyone who enjoyed Set Yourself On Fire), Stars is releasing its sixth studio album early November. The coinciding tour fits perfectly for them to be included in this year’s sweet ACL lineup — plus, they’ll be playing the Granada the night before they’re rocking Zilker Park.

The upcoming new release, simply entitled North, will feature the previously released single “The Theory of Relativity”. The band released another track just this morning, entitled “Hold On When You Get Love and Let Go When You Give It.” That’s a lot of wisdom to fit into one song title. Well done, Stars.

Fans who purchase tickets for any of the U.S. headlining shows (listed below) will receive a digital copy of the album on release day and an instant download of “The Theory of Relativity.” The North is out September 4 via ATO.
