Albums like this are the reason we get out of bed. We’re talking about Fang Island’s album ‘Major’ out on July 24.The entire album exists with in a realm in which pianos, guitar riffs and the like never over power the lyrics but instead seem to lift them up. The result is an album that resonates with the perfect intensity of summer.
“Kindergarten”, the opening track is a much needed reminder of the relevance of the golden rule.
Turn up “Sisterly” to 11 on the dial (We know you caught that Spinal Reference). It will do nothing less than make this the perfect day. It may sound sappy, but we’re eight songs in and have yet to find a song that sucks. When was the last time you could say that about an album?
