Yes, I know, a story about Coldplay on an indie music website. I know I’m in for some mixed reactions, but trust me on this one, because it’s strange.
Coldplay has a comic book series to be revealed today at Comic-Con based on the band’s newest album “Mylo Xyloto,” directed by Kung Fu Panda‘s Mark Osborne and eventually, reportedly, turned into a feature film.
Told you.

The comic series will be split into six parts, with the rest released in February 2013. It will follow the main character, Mylo Xyloto, as he goes through some super scientific or robotic things, probably (no further detail has been given quite yet).
If you know the story behind the album, however, then you know the story behind the comic.
If you’re at Comic-Con, scope out the comic and give us your thoughts. We’ll update as more information becomes available, because this is too interesting to pass up.
