WHOSE HOUSE? RUN’S HOUSE!
That’s right, get stoked because for the first time in ten years, hip-hop legends Run-D.M.C. will reunite at Austin’s Fun Fun Fun Fest for the group’s first performance since the tragic death of Jam Master Jay in 2002.
How FFFFest got this huge booking, we’re not sure, but this is sure to add to the already huge crowd that is bound to show up at the festival.
The folks at FFFFest are gradually announcing which bands will perform at the event, and if it gets any bigger than this, I’m not sure I could handle it.
D.M.C. is also working with festival promoters to give proceeds to the JMJ Foundation for Music, which gives children and young adults of all statuses the opportunity to learn music.
The fest begins Nov. 2 and features bands Against Me!, Baroness, Danny Brown, Bob Mould, Tomahawk, Rakim, Atlas Sound, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Starfucker, Lagwagon, the Head and the Heart, and David Cross.
Look at this teaser video and tell me you’re not stoked afterward.
